TCEQ Approves Fines Totaling $190,633

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $122,378 against 17 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.

Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: three petroleum storage tank, two air quality, one industrial wastewater discharge, four municipal wastewater discharge, one on-site sewage installer, five public water system, and one water quality.

In addition, on Oct. 10 and Oct. 17, the executive director approved a total of 28 penalties, totaling $68,255.
